Challenge
Partners4Housing helps families of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities answer three questions: what does my Loved One need to live outside the family home, who will they live with, and how will we afford it.
That work is a matching pool, a benefits review, generated reports, paid services, and partner organizations. Email and spreadsheets cannot run it. Families needed a signed-in place to search members, complete intake, buy the review, and download a report. Staff needed admin. Affiliates needed their own portal.
This is a multi-portal product, not a brochure-site problem.
Build
I built the platform around those jobs. The member portal is the public URL: portal.partners4housing.com.
Robust member search. The Roommate Matching Pool lets invited families search profiles for compatible roommates and partner families: location, support needs, lifestyle. Search has to work on a growing pool, not a static list.
Dynamic multi-step form. The Benefits and Housing Review is a long, branching intake. Families work through housing options, benefits, and support needs in steps that change with their answers, instead of a single wall of questions.
PDF generation. When the review is done, the family gets a printable report they can keep and share. The PDF is generated from the intake, not assembled by hand.
Custom e-commerce. Checkout for the review, matching-pool access, and related services lives on a dedicated signup flow. This is product checkout for a service org, not a generic storefront.
Admin portal. Staff manage members, reviews, and the pool from a separate admin surface, so operations are not a spreadsheet sitting next to the member app.
Affiliate portals. Partner organizations get their own portal under Partners4Housing, so affiliates can work the program without borrowing a family login or emailing staff for every record.
Same discipline as other client work: one account model, separate surfaces for families, staff, and affiliates, and the public member URL is the sign-in.
SEO and technical foundation
The member portal has its own domain. The public URL is the sign-in. Admin and checkout live on separate hosts, so staff and purchase flows are not mixed into the family session.
This is a custom web app, not a local-SEO brochure. The technical job is a matching pool, a branching form, generated PDFs, checkout, and role-separated portals.
Result
Families sign in at portal.partners4housing.com to search the pool, complete intake, check out, and download a report. Staff run the program from admin. Affiliates have a portal of their own. The product matches how Partners4Housing actually delivers shared-living work: search, intake, documents, payment, and partners, in one system.
