Seattle-local, and have been for a long time
I'm Tim Mushen. I've spent the last 27 years building custom software for small and mid-size businesses across the Seattle area, client portals, dashboards, API integrations, and the workflow automation that ties them together. I founded Seattle.dev (under X Enterprises LLC) so local businesses could work directly with the person who actually designs and builds their system.
When you work with me, you talk to me. I spend time learning how your business actually operates, not how some generic software wants it to work, and then build something that fits the way you work. After launch, I'm still here when questions come up or needs change.
Straight answers on cost and process
Most custom portals for small and mid-size businesses run between $30,000 and $100,000 depending on complexity, and I'll tell you that on the first call. Projects are billed on milestones (30% to start, 40% at midpoint, 30% at launch), so nobody is exposed on either side. If off-the-shelf software is the right answer for your problem, I'll say that too.
Recent work
Recent client projects include a service-operations portal for Farmers Electric, ordering and distribution tooling for San Juan Seltzer, and investor reporting for Veristone Capital. You can see the details on the portfolio page.
